Hi, Anybody out there help me with some E320 CDi saloon sp?(merged2)

I Have intend ordered an E320 Cdi Avantguard from my local dealer complete with a few options. One option is for a factory fit Tow-Bar as I intend to pull a Caravan with the beast?.

The Max Technical permisable laden Mas (MTPLM) of the caravan is 1700Kg the Brochure was a bit fuzzy as to towing specifications and the sales person was just as fuzzy?? Can anybody advise me if the E320CDI is capable of handling this load "safeley" :?:

Hi

The car is quite capable of towing this. You need to check the legal max towing wieght in the Uk. Many years ago you could only tow upto half of the gross towing vehicle weight if it was only two wheel drive. But I am not sure of the current regs
