Park lights

Hi when i engage the park light option on my 190. nothing happens . all bulbs are working fine for lights in normal position. does anyone have any ideas why they are not working?

Maybe there is a separate fuse.

i have looked in the hand book and the RHS is Fuse 14 8A White combined with nbr plate instrument cluster and controls and headlamp cleaning system all of which are operational. LHS is Fuse 15 8A White Parking and tail lamp Left. and the tail lamp is working fine too on that side!

i think i will have to detach the switch from the facia. i think this is done by pulling of the black plastic handle and then probably un screwing the switch . maybe then i can possibly test the switch (if anyone has any info on how to test a switch id be grateful). Also looks like the headlamp adjustment isnt working too! i know it s on vacum, any ideas on how to go about finding a fault in that system?

yeah!! silly me i forgot that u need to move the indicator lever up or down to operate the park light in conjunction with the light switch LOL.

No you don't????? no connection between the 2 things, check the ignition switch, it sticks the supply out to the light switch when switched off.

its on beemers you have to lift the indicaters
