Hi folks, I'm here under the advice of Jill Foden, I wrote an e-mail to her and she suggested that I try here. I'm lookin for a 55 300sl gullwing or someone that knows of where one might be. I'm doing a project on the car in question and seein one in the flesh.......er.........metal would be a great help! So if anyone owns one or knows where one is could u please let me know, I would offer a cash reward but i'm a pennyless Student, sorry. :(

Very rare car and very expensive! 130K at least to buy!!! maybe you could contact classic car museums like Beauleiu in hampshire. try contacting the Mercedes Club @ www.mercedesownersclub.co.uk
maybe look on the web for the numerous classic car auctions and check their stock sheets for up coming auctions. possibly there might be one at the Goodwood festival of speed at Goodwood in surrey in the summer time phone them to enquire. Phone Mc Laren F1 and see if Ron Dennis can help you out! with his dosh hes probably got one stashed! call classic car and sports car magazine and speak to someone there.

MB have got one in there headquarters at milton keynes. I believe they have borrowed it of someone. Im sure that if you asked the customer services they would be able to get you in or point you to someone that could .
