heated rear windscreen

hi guys. i have a problem with my heated back windscreen, when i press the button to activate it the red l.e.d does not come on and i dont think the window starts to heat. i have checked the 40amp fuse and it is o/k. can anyone offer any ideas where to check next. my car is a C180 classic 1997. thanks

Funny you should mention that - I have the same problem. I have a C180 classic (1994). I have not yet got round to checking the fuse, although my little red light does come on........
