c180 central locking-not

:( Hi, just wondering if anybody has had problems with the central locking on a c180 (mines a 1996 Elegance model). The key fob seems to work ok, the lights on the mirror work and the immobiliser kicks in but no locking. Also the button on the dash for the central locking dosen't work either. Any hints ???

Sounds like the fuse for the central locking that is the first thing i would check .

Hi 190,the only fuses I could find were in the main box under the bonnet and one in the boot, am I missing any?

Check vacum pump is working and getting power.

Hi Landover, checked the pump in the boot and it's not working when the key fob or the dash button is used. Any idea where I'd get a wiring diagram for the pump? Sounds like a faulty pump, do ya think?

Check wires going into pump.Use a test light on the power wire when you activate the remote. Also you can run a live wire to try the pump.Only try all this if you are sure the fuses are ok.
