Stripping wax.

Evening all,
What would people suggest to use to strip old Polish/wax off to start a fresh ?
I've got a couple a new wax's I won't to try out , but I won't a clean start with them.

Try Chemical guys Clean Slate ...good stuff in my opinion

Have a little look at Dodo juice Lime prime as a pre wax cleaner as well

Bilt hamber cleanser fluid is also good, find it less effort than a polish type cleanser like Dj lime prime

I always clay before using a different wax, usually with a clay mitt like THIS ONE.

Just use soapy water as a lube and it's done in a few minutes.

Fairy liquid, it`s a degreaser and strips wax/polish which is why your told never to wash your car with it and it`s a helluva lot cheaper than anything else, I would also recommend claying before new polish and wax as daveenty suggests...

My only experience of wax/polish stripping was a Victorian dressing table that had been badly French Polished, but I guess Nitromors would be a bit OTT for what the OP wants!!:eek::eek::eek:

i agree with tfr to do that, we use at work autosmart g101. very good cleaner and will take it all back to standard coat.

Don't use fairy liquid! It contains lots of salt which will do your car no good at all!
