Lovely w124 300te -lots of wiring problems

New old merc for me. Beautiful ride but no working sun roof, reverse light, aerial, lamp warning light, deafening fan. Oh the hours of fun ahead of me.

not had a problem with the sunroof, but it is important to keep the cassette well lubricated. I had to replace the engine wiring loom and ignition module on mine as it was made with biodegradeable wiring. The only other big job is the tail gate struts recently. I was fed up getting banged on the head every time it came down.

Didn't have the wiring loom replacement issue. Thought I might. Luckily I have a auto electrician right next door.
