Its helps when using a blink code reader on older cars. You put the power leads into the red and black sockets, then your test lead goes into the yellow socket relevant to the component you want to test.
So for example socket 4 is LH (engine management), socket 21 is the roof, socket 6 is ABS/ASR and so on.
Then you count the blinks using the blink code reader and it gives you the error code which you then look up. Proper old skool

Oh a blink code reader! My '85 Trans Am had that! I was well impressed, never heard of it before that car (I was very young and stupid at the time...)

Car had it's first service. Asked them to look at a couple of additional bits and was very impressed with the little video they gave me of the check. Got servicing free as part of the purchase so I won't dwell on the costs involved with making that little video but do like the 'proof' the checks were done.

Updating my Audio to mt C220 Coupe CL203

Fitted a new head unit Pioneer AVH-x8700BT 2Din, and Reversing Camera, But having problems powering Cam from Reversing Lights, which is leaving me frustrated, so a thrash to weymouth is in order I think to vent said frustrations...

Well I've just brought a a220 cdi amg 2.1 2014 when I open the bonnet and press the accelerator I can hear like a swoosh noise as if there's like air coming out of a pipe is that normal for these cars sorry new to Mercedes ��
