Not really, took me about 20 mins but tbh you can do it in 5 mins. I've seen the YouTube videos to prove it :p I was just being cautious I didn't break anything....
Regarding the flat star I spent ages trying to find one in the uk and a Mercedes spares dealer told me that they do not do a 44mm one which is spring loaded like the 57mm badge In the end I ordered the below off eBay

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/262811191657

It's not arrived yet and could be anytime in the next month so I've no idea what the quality is like and whether the fit is proper.
Cheers
Kris

thanks Kris
i'll wait until you have it and let me know if it fits or not, i might just order the grille+flat star also

I would agree with the GAD remap recommendation - just had my E350 remapped and the result is like someone has cut the weight of the car or given it an adrenaline injection!

Can I ask, is that all the time, whether it's in Economy or Sport mode?

You will have to de-badge now to balance the weight out with all that extra downforce ;-)

The extra downforce is staggering. ;)

As a result of this thread, I decided to order a boot spoiler for my w211 E320 sport. Glad to report that it arrived today ( from the same supplier as the OP) and it's perfect. Colour match is spot on, fitting is very simple. I think it adds a little muscle to the look. I'll post a pick when it gets light. Thanks to the OP.

Remember to budget for some new rear tyres too, that baby forces the rear into the tarmac it's bound to have an effect!:p

Good news. Glad it's worked out well :)
One note of caution. I've subsequently received an invoice from FedEx for about £20. £8 is vat and £12 admin fee. I'm not sure what this is for I didn't think I'd have to pay anything on under £100 so I need to look into whether it's valid or not. Anyone ever come across this?
Cheers
Kris

Looks valid having been on FedEx website. So add £20 onto your boot lip spoiler price :p

Flat bonnet badge arrived today and I've fitted it. It's alright to be fair I would post a pic but it seems I've used up my image allowance and no idea how to change that :p

IIRC it is a Garrett GTB20V or GTB22V

Aids grip as it adds weight to the rear

Hi mate, I notice your e350 profile is a GAD edition, I know you said before you had them re-map it. has yours had the hybrid turbo, exhaust etc too that GAD advertise as a package?

sorry, c350 :p

yes I had £7500  I was wondering what it was like you see for all that dough! shed loads of torque, but not as much bhp as I would have guessed it would produce
