Well after 2 years of ownership...and the loss of £13k I am saying goodbye to my E350....

Reason, looming retirement...and as I am already a Jaguar Pensioner (early retirement and VR) also working back at JLR as a contractor, we get some fantastic offers on Car Lease, so I am ordering an LR Evoque....

Bit sad but hey ho!

Enjoy your retirement and JLR. I have been tempted by the Jag F-Pace after the mess Mercedes have made of the GLC crabbing issues.

Enjoy your "semi" retirement!

Envy you a little... Jag is about the only brand I would switch to (and nearly did a while back).

The F pace is an impressive looking suv, only time will tell if a shaguar has similar durability to a Mercedes.

I think all these suv look the same although I like the new Land Rover discovery that's just come out ...nice trim inside that shouts class ...F pace looked like evougue inside ....took out gle coupe but felt a bit side to side in comfort mode....became a different car in sport + but so did the mpg

I can only assume the growing interest in SUV's is due to the decreasing average speeds on our roads due to overcrowding so you can at least enjoy the scenery a little better. Other than that I really can't she the appeal, it doesn't matter who's badge is on it they're all boring looking boxes generally bought as 'lifestyle' vehicles, or in the case of the hideous looking and hideously priced Bentley just to make a statement about your disposable income.
Personally for the Bentley money I'd rather have an Aston Martin Rapide if I ever had that sort of money to spend on a car, anyway enjoy your retirement whatever you're driving. :)

You still hanging on in the Merc forum buddy :):):)

Yes I will still look in from time to time....(retiring soon so will have the time I guess!!) - The wife and I plan to get a small sports car so you never know it might be a Merc....
We have 4 Cars between us ( including 1 out in Spain! ) so will sell our UK "run around" to fund the "Fun Car" ...don't laugh but I like the Smart Car Cabriolet...she line the MX5......

Who will win is anyone's guess!
