Can you tell me what is 4d transmission?

Haven't heard that for years! Wasn't it the old overdrive style of transmission?
Not up on old auto boxes to be honest so I may be miles off the mark here....

This is the old girl I'm picking up on Saturday
I've been looking on and off for over a year
They certainly are like chickens teeth
Very rare with low miles and quiet high spec

That'll be the early 7 speed autobox.

Make sure of its service history, especially gearbox atf change.

The gap could have been down to a absent minded owner a bit like myself
And as for the fails they only seem minor with perishing rubbers
But I can tell you it's quiet a good car for an 11 year old
