How do you get her to read it for you John? Seriously?

Just thought I would provide an update to how I solved the issue of getting my E350 w212 2010 with command to Bluetooth from my iPhone 7 for media, MP3 and telephone.
Firstly I spoke with a couple of specialists who provide updates to the firmware for £199, but I would need to travel to there location and wait a couple of hours for the to do the upgrade.
Luckily however I found an adapter for sale on Amazon and eBay that simply plugs in to the Mercedes command media socket in the glovebox and it works as a separate Bluetooth adapter, it's powered by the media socket and reconnects automatically every time I get in the car. Both the cars telephone Bluetooth functionality and media music players work simitaniously together and the command system displays all my music, playlists, podcasts etc on screen. This solution cost me under £79 including next day delivery.
Thanks John

When I first got this in my last 212 I used to send myself messages just to hear her perfectly clipped voice saying ' John you are a complete c#%t and other obscenities !!Thanks John,
Just had a fiddle in the car and text read out as you describe,
Now I'm waiting to receive a new one, to see if it can be spontaneous
Typical of my kids, 100's of text asking for lifts, money etc... Now nothing at all
Still, no rush....
She knows already Frosty!!Ha ha ha, I'm having a good day today and that just made it better...
I'll text myself also, just to hear her say what a c#%t you are too
Just wind up SWMBO and you get the same resultWhen I first got this in my last 212 I used to send myself messages just to hear her perfectly clipped voice saying ' John you are a complete c#%t and other obscenities !!
I'm such a child sometimes
