Used to have a C63...
In fairness, I'm supposed to have put it up for sale back in March/April when work situation changed.

Partly been busy, partly dragging my heels!

It is a fine car, and still puts a smile on my face even after 3 years (which for me is unusual).

But income stream reduced now so can't justify running a V8.
Welcome back to the cheap seats buddy .... From those of us without V8's :D:D

You're very welcome to my V8 for the right price. It doesn't cost much to run!

If this is any consolation, we're moving from a 3 car garage to a double, though it does have more than 3 car parking spaces ;)

My Wife and I are reducing to part time, we got 3 V8's, 2 6cyl, 2 4 cyl...........Oh heck......The future is not good :(

Let me go and do something to the 55 :)

Looks like I'm going to have to repeat this sealing job, looks like I have opted for the wrong clear silicone sealant :(
At least it's not letting water into the boot

I can peel the rubber away from the sealant just by touching it
Such as life, I should have used the same lockite as in the thread, I guess it will be easy to clean up

Just gave her a thorough wash, I really can't workout how far the rubbers are from looking sealed around the boot and still there is no trace of any water inside the boot .
Oh well, at least it looks good

I never said what I’d plan to replace it with! Unless you meant traitor to the car, in which I take your point ;)

A C350CDi Estate

Likely a CLK55 Kompressor or some form of big engine CLS. Dependent on budget. And not for a few years yet.
