Put it up for sale. :(

If my memory serves me well I thought yours was a lovely peachy one, and you really liked it?
... or were you the guy with kiddy seat difficulties?

.... that engine is a very HARD act to follow :(
Driven a couple, but as a new SL buyer I sadly could never afford to own the AMG varient :):)

But second hand .... Maybe ... one day ... a CL63 ;)

The only way I keep my no accident record is avoid any tricky slow speed manoeuvres, park At 6" from the kerb, and in tight situations swallow my pride and get out and check if necessary.

Do you not have a dipping rear view mirror for parking????

Rose has just picked up the ex Malcolm R230 from the bodyshop. There was a small amount of rust on the rear wings thats been dealt with, resprayed the rear spoiler and resprayed the front number plate surround. She's over the moon with it even though it did cost a small fortune to do!
The bodyshop mentioned that if we'd left the rust another winter the panels would have required a lot more work so it looks like we caught it in time.

Aye - love it... And no kiddies to blame!

It is a gem of a car - reasonably subdued when needs be and a firecracker the mood is there.

And that engine...! :geek:

So today I went and got my c350 cdi re-mapped and dynoed.
Original hp 231
Stage 1 289hp

He didn't want to push it any further as it would have made the intake temp rise.

The torque is unbelievable will post a print out from dyno soon.

Changed drivers side lower arm on the 129 front end and fitted a full set of sway bar rubbers. Miffed the delivery of the top mounts didnt arrive yesterday as they should or they would have been done too.
Still need to do passenger side arm but ran out of enthusiasm after fighting the drivers side one for 3 hours!

Managed to fold a king size mattress into a roll and squeeze it into an E320cdi saloon rear seat , had to drop the windows to allow more space and really force the doors shut . Drove to the local tip. This was all to save £25 for old mattress pick up when John Lewis deliver the new one tomorrow . Had to pay Mrs W £25 to get involved in the disposal project :( . At least the £25 stays in the family .
