I know you gotta be careful with these - especially on leather
but boy, I just started to use it on the steering wheel - looks like its coming back to leather after 14 years.......I thought it was supposed to be a light colour - until i started using this
must get a before and after shot

Cheers
Andy

Yeah, they do clean up your leather steering wheel brilliantly.
Took the horrible glossy sheen off mine a treat, now back to a beautiful matt- and feels great too.
Plus it's so easy to do.

yes, they are great- at first, i thought it was stripping the finish and showing darker colour underneath - then the more I used it I realised this was how the wheel should look.

Ah glad to see you’re not a bot. We have had a rash of weird first time posts.

I use Gliptone on my leather and it’s excellent. Don’t forget to use a conditioner too btw.

I normally use autoglym leather cleaner & conditioner, but the magic erasers clean up your steering wheel quickly & easily.

Gliptone needs to be used with a scrubbing brush for best effect... I know, I cut through 210k miles of human hand gunk on my 211's wheel with it :D

I'd love to change my steering wheel, the 220/215 steering wheel buttons are too far away from the rim and you have to move your hand round the wheel to use the buttons.

Have a look at seller paramount_styling on EBay. I bought a replacement for my S203 - new and perfect and less than half what MB quoted. They were very helpful identifying the right one and didn't try to sell up or anything. It came extremely well packed, My local garage fitted it for £50 - it still looks and feels like new.

My original steering wheel was "patchy" - I think someone had put something wrong on it and at first I wasted a lot of time (and thankfully not too much money) with a restoration kit without success - it looked okay at first but then went back as before after a day or two of use.

Well, if you have, then just get a recolouring kit and paint it.
