2010 W204 C350 CDI Sport AMG pack
Hi folks,

1st post on here and new to Mercedes Benz ownership.

I have bought a 2010 W204 Saloon C350 cdi Sport with AMG pack. I love it

It already has the sports suspension but I'd like it a tad lower (sacrilege I know!!), I'm wondering if my model would have the self levelling suspension? As this seems to crop up when choosing the springs.

I'm not going to bother going down the coilover route, Ebaich Pro springs will suit me fine. Just wondering which set I need to choose for my vehicle? AlsoI presume if it says 30mm lowered then mine would just be 15ml lower than it is now due to the sports sususpension?

Many thanks

Eric

C Classes don't have self levelling. I would put H&R springs on, they are a superior product to Eibach.

They quote lowering from standard so you are correct in how much lower your car will go at 15mm

Perfect, thanks for the reply! I think another 15mm will be perfect for me. I never tend to go more that 30mm from standard.

Will the sports suspension's shock absorbers be shortened or are they the same as standard just with shorter springs? If its already got uprated shocks then thats a winner in my eyes and I won't feel too bad about lowering it. If it doesn't, I'll just live with it haha

They are shorter than standard so no issues putting shorter springs on

The do have electronic rear dampers some of them though...not sure if it would make a difference but worth checking out.

Speak to Projex Design UK, members here, they are into lowering etc and will advise you best.

Hi folks,

Well, I got the H&R lowering springs and also H&R spacers. All fitted without a hitch today but......

The front looks great and nice and low without being too low but the rear is higher that it was before! Seems to drive fine, done about 30miles but still hasnt dropped at all at the rear, if anything its higher. They are 45mm lowering springs all round.

Anyone had the same issue? Or any ideas? Could they be E-Class rears by mistake??
