Exactly Guy. My detailer has now discontinued it, I’m the 3rd car he’s used and the protection is only lasting a matter of 6 months or so, whereas they claim 18 months to be the average. Swissvax claim 12 I think.
We’ve come to an arrangement on the Swissvax, basically I’m paying for the material but my guy is not charging for his labour. I trust him, he’s a good guy so I think that’s fair.

It's fair play on his part... you'd hope if Kamikaze were genuine that they'd step too! I will have to look in to them a bit more then... mind you, got to sell my car first!

Bit worrying as the local "proper" detailer down here uses it, and was toying with getting it on next car! Have they refunded you???

Funnily enough, one of the contenders has been G-Tech'd by first owner. Guessing your chap would prefer undercover facilities? Happy to head to him if he's good - as long as he has good coffee!!!

He is mobile so flexible if you on FB then look for "Platinum Detailing", he has a very nice portfolio of cars on regular maintenance contracts

Went for a nice run to N Wales this morning in the white one for a work related meeting and got it filthy. Spent most of the afternoon cleaning it up again. Done all apart from the wheels as it's late and I'm tired.

Also got the red one back after it's sump replacement due to the crack in it. Spent the rest of the afternoon cleaning that one, but that's in the garage so a lot easier to work on.

Will be finishing them both hopefully later in the week...

Not really Roger. I knew it would be a challenge, especially with it being used as a daily at the moment, but it does look good when it's cleaned up.
