I can't believe this. Did I just kill my transmission?

I had over 2 years of trouble free service from this car, and in one day it's trashed. See my other post regarding a bad ground effecting my lights and engine quitting. (in electrics)

It turns out that the turn signal cuts the engine out too. I was coming to an intersection to make a turn, put the signal on and it cut the engine. I had traffic right behind me and I panicked a bit and threw it in park to get it started again. Turns out I was still rolling , maybe 2 mph or so.

Now I can't move the shifter out of park. It won't budge. Any thoughts on this?

It won't move unless your foot is on the brake pedal.

It won't move unless your foot is on the brake pedal.
And if the brake pedal switch is buggered it still isn't going to move.

To add to LK's comment on your other thread, you've got severe earth issues. The same goes for the engine and transmission, if it's not getting full voltage, it's going to shut down.

These issues should show up as low voltage codes, i suggest you get the codes read.
