I would say somewhere around £7-8k. Had it been somewhere at around 70k miles I would have suggested £10k

Thanks Steve, contacted a dealer about a PX on a c63, they said 7k low end, with options and condition could get close to 10k trade in.

Why pay that when for the same money you could have an SL63 which will be 10 years newer, more reliable and with better performance and consumption?

It’s an F1 which is a rarer example and therefore theoretically collectible
If it’s a car to use daily you’re right for reliability and tech the newer SL63 would be better....that’s not what the F1 is about though

Problem being there are more F1's on the road and for sale than they ever made lol

Over 5000 sl55 F1 produced for USA alone in 2004, I think the SL63 and the SL65 may be rarer but I could be wrong...

Over 5000? That seems a very high figure, where have you seen that data.

I saw this on MBWorld.org forum apparently production figures for USA are publicly available:-

"Production Numbers

They can be found for all AMG`s on the AMG Private Lounge Website.
These are US delivered units. They dont release world wide numbers.

SL55

2004=5217
2005=1542
2006=748

SL65

2005=651
2006=390"

They look like SL55 figures over all
as opposed to the F1 limited edition.

Definitely SL55 numbers overall, the F1 was a limited edition, then there were genuine F1 pace cars
I don’t have the numbers but certainly not in thousands.
The problem now as Matt has commented, is that many SL55’s are being passed off as F1

F1 was a package that could optionally be ordered (for about £8500) and comprised suspension changes, trim changes etc.

Nice, no high spec apart from pan roof- no KG, distronic or wind deflector- looks decent for the money if, as said it’s as represented. Needs a lot of detail on ABC history etc

No KG is a benefit and unless my eyes are deceiving me it has the wind deflector.

A full MB benefit has an up side and a down side. I find MB will only do what the computer says rather than what the car needs.

It does indeed have the deflector.

OP. It looks a decent enough car for the money. If you're interested see if you can arrange the car to be inspected by Steve at Avantgarde as he's not too far away.
