My money is on the k40 module

Yes or EIS, as I said above the connection spades at the back of the EIS can go dry and although all the dash lights come on there is no signal to start, I’ve had this problem a couple of times, dropped the panel below the EIS given the connector a waggle and bingo car starts

Where do I collect my winnings?

So I have use a “bridge” from 1 pin to the other. To check if any change. But Notting still, so I checked the starter motor and there grown, power reaching the motor but not turning... :/ só a new starter motor is likely to be needed.

Put a live onto the purple wire. If the starter runs the problem is still on the k40. I know you said you have checked power to starter, but not ever so clear from what you have written.

There are two large terminals on the back of the starter. One is a permanent 12v from the battery. The other is turned on when the solenoid engages. The thin wire to the starter assembly controls the solenoid and is driven from the starter relay.
If you put a 12v feed to the thin solenoid wire there should be a click from the solenoid and the starter motor should turn over the engine.

I have ordered a k40 second hand, 9£,
Also we have checked live on the terminal of the starter and we have 12v but starter won’t rotate.

Have you put 12v on the connector the thin wire connects to? If it still doesn't turn over then the starter is faulty.

Starter problem will likely be a bad solenoid (on the top of the motor) or worn brushes in the motor itself. If the new starter isn't exchange it may be worth pulling apart and seeing if it was. Both those parts are often rebuildable.
