Evening Folks

Still getting the missus w203 up together

Anyway the front anti roll bar bushes are knackered.

Been informed i have to buy the complete bar with bushes molded on + new brackets.

Now its not a fortune to buy from mercedes, but just wondering if there is a cheaper option as the pennys are tight at the moment

Thank you

Tried the above

Everytime they supply the incorrect bushes.

Sport edition has a different size arb that they do not stock

Take one of the clamps off once you get both wheels off the ground. There are two different shaped rubber bushes. Once you know which ones you are looking for, get onto EBay. They're only a few pounds each and easy to replace. I think the anti roll bar itself is the same diameter for both standard and sports, just the rubber bushes that are different. If all else fails, remove the old bushes, wrap the roll bar with duct tape and replace the old bushes and the gaps will "disappear". It's a temporary fix and should last you a few weeks until you get it properly sorted.

The bushes are moulded to the bar on the sport edition

You can cut the moulded bushes off the bar, clean it up and replace them with new ones. In terms of the difference between the normal and sports ARBs, if I remember correctly, the normal one is 28mm diameter and the sports 29mm diameter.

The one that fits the clamp holding it to the chassis. There are two types. See below. I'm fairly sure these are the ones. The clamps only fit one type of bush. It's obvious when you remove the clamp.
