Evening all, I’ll be replacing the rocker cover gaskets soon, along with sparks and HT leads - whilst they are off and they are looking shabby, I want to get them powder coated.

Does anyone have recommends? I’m based in E. London...

Thanks in advance.

Powder Coating is Powder Coating! The electrostatic coating is applied until all surfaces are covered. It is then baked. It is as simple as that.

That said, I'm not saying that it is an unskilled, or semi-skilled, process. Just that it is a relatively mundane process for any establishment so equipped.

My Father had some knowledge of the process when he worked for Arthur Holden & Co, back in the 70's, who developed the process to Commercial usage.

The issue I’m having is mainly people getting back to me - I work 0700-1700, most shops I’ve found either don’t reply or are closed when I can get there/usually both... It’s becoming annoying.

That does look good Cole, I’ll give them a shout!

The quality of the actual finish obtained though varies wildly. I've had some really bad powder coat jobs done. Like painting you have to be careful where you take your stuff.
