It would really depends on the original mount, whether there's a certain pattern to the light, etc, etc.
There are thousands of LEDs (and SMD and COB variety) out there that would, most likely be suitable.
If you can unplug the actual light and take a few pics, it'll be easier to narrow down potential replacement types.
I'd imagine that, it could be done on STAR, unless it's a damaged wire going into / coming from the SAM, or something of that nature.
Just a update foond a great guy master with Mercedes he has sorted my courtesy lights refreshed the system
And he's found the problem with my massage seat now the hunt begins for a pump .
Now the downlights work I will try to get some tidy photos or part numbers or even a maker this weekend .
I really would like blue lights
Certainly does! Not for me I’m afraidWow that makes a statement when you arrive

I do understand but I think it's just on the tip of balance but I think blue lights might just take it down a little maybeNever seen that particular mount, so I would just fit a waterproof plug to the wires, take the light home, replace the LEDs with whatever you like, fit a waterproof socket, take them back, plug in, job done
I have to say though, a combination of OE Brabus downlights and aftermarket Mercedes puddle lights, seems a bit too "illuminated"
Maybe it'll look more balanced with blue downlights ... I suppose it's a very big car, so might be okay ...
