CLK55 AMG Roof hinge help

So after owning the car less than a week I went to put the roof up and I heard a crack, like plastic snapped. Any way upon inspection somehow this flap/hinge got wedged on the actual soft top during the closing precedure.

It was wedged between the roof and I had to release it but upon so it seems to have lightly grazed the fabric on the roof, luckily not too bad though! So the actual bracket below was bent by me upon removing the flap..

So is it possible to replace the whole part as I have tried twice to bend it back into shape but it’s just not happening. You can see exactly how bent the bracket is here if you compare to the side that’s flush.

You probably want to post this also on the ‘Bodywork........etc etc’ section too as it’s not directly AMG and common to other CLK non AMG models. More chance of a ‘hit’ there

Thank you matey, although I have managed to source the part from eBay for £30 as opposed to £137+Vat from Mercedes!

Yes hopefully it’s a simple job to replace looks fairly straightforward! Still doesnt explain why it happened though? Now I’m always going to have the worry of it happening again every time I operate the roof!
