Performance downpipes

When I rang MSL they advised that I could have this modification to mt C350, I didn't enquire into costs and benefits at the time. What I cannot find on the interweb is how they are fitted, and what is removed as part of the fitting process, do you lose the DPF? Is the expense worth the gain? This would be done at the same time as the ECU map.

Frankly I wouldn't bother. Benefits are small unless you're running some pretty high states of tune, especially on turbo engines.
