As my wife has said I've done such a good job she wants her '05 plate Yaris done now. Because the car has never been detailed, much cleaned in 10 years. Would it be a good idea to use the polisher with a T-Cut before applying the polish layers? Or could this be too harsh on the poor paintwork?

I will upload some pics of the state of of the paintwork.

If posting about none MB cars is not the done thing I will remove.

I wouldn't use t cut unless you need it , wash it , clay it , then use your polish you already have , then a coat of wax to finish . See how it turns out after that lot .

There are a few scratches by the door handle so I'll see how that goes. Cheers.

Be aware that German cars use really hard paint. Japanese cars really soft paint. So, it won’t stand much in the way of abrasive polish.

Is there a paint harder than EmilysMum's diamond engagement ring? She asked me what I thought all the scratch marks might be around the door handles of her car ...
obviously off her ring. I know she won't alter the way she opens her car doors. Fortunately all the marks from her nail polish on my car easily polished off.
