Dave's old W212 E63 was Palladium and I really fell for the colour on that shape.

Good choice- you might want to check if Mercedes have sorted their red paint issues, they had a big problem with fire opal red in the past.

I spoke to a garage about my small paint bubble and he asked if it was red. This makes sense now.

I am beginning to see a few new, 17 and 18 registered, MB's around in Red. Do you think mean that these people have bought blind or has the problem now at long last been sorted ?

Could have been a demo plus 2 owners, check the service history, owners is not something I would worry about

Do check on the previous owner history if you like a car and the service history etc ticks the boxes - my car had 3 owners - but it was a demo sold to a customer and they cocked up his registration when he changed the number for a personal plate.
