I've got a few small jobs on my E class coupe, 1st debadge the boot (not the Mercedes logo) , debadge the wings, 2nd I've got some new Mercedes gel wheel centre badges for my new wheels and 3rd (and might be a bit contentious ) some gloss black 110mm Mercedes logos for just under the running strip at the rear and finally I've had some gloss red V6 logos made that fit into the recess in the plastic engine cover, pics to follow.

Are you getting rid of the chrome strip down both sides ? Or do you have the facelift model.

It's got the chrome strips, I'm undecided about them as Ii think they look ok, I have removed the strips on previous cars but they've been smaller, not sure about this with it being a big car.

Please don't forget the pictures, this sounds quite interesting and I'm curious to see the results.
The chrome strips on the side, are they just held on by double sided tape or do they click into clips?
Mine are starting to look a little past their best and I must admit that the only thing holding me up from removing them is, finding out how they're mounted. I'd hate to have to refit them if clips were left exposed.:rolleyes:

I fell asleep at my computer desk last night, upon waking thought "oh well, I can do it tomorrow, just a wee bit late to do it now".

Shame it's been absolutely hissing down since I got up this morning! :(

Where's me damned waterproofs? :geek:

I managed most of the jobs.
Debadged the boot and wings, fitted the Mercedes gel badges to the wheels and fitted the V6 stickers to the engine cover.

Love your alloys!

Didn't realise that the red V6 was a sticker, I thought you'd hand painted them at first.

Love the V6 stickers, and the de-badged look.
