You've got a dash cam....

Being an ex Forces brat, it would be pretty stupid to braodcast that! Especially as no news they scooped them up!
As they are 1440p you would see the number plates. And the targets could recognise the road! Hence the town.
Who knows maybe it was an aborted raid and they are going back tonight!
I certainly wouldnt want to give the targets any info.

This was Tuesday afternoon in Archers Road, Southampton:
Screen Shot 2018-09-13 at 20.37.36.png

Not BMW X5's, just Ford S Max's with lots of neckerchiefs for the sheriffs who are heavily armed, in broad daylight.

Can't see how many covert blue lights, number plates edited out.

Know its Archers Road as that's what the accompanying article said it was. It was broadcast by the jolly old BBC quick sharp, dunno if a punter sent them the image.

The bandits can learn the type and number of cop cars are used to undertake a box stop, but we know that from the telly most nights 'Police Interceptors' is on. Black seems to be a popular Q car colour, travelling in 3's with blacked out windows and blokes wearing neckerchiefs in them. Or they could be going to a fancy dress party. :D:D

A still from your dash cam at night with at least 30 covert blue lights giving all sorts of challenges for the sensor to produce a crystal clear image of the exact location and vehicles moving rapidly away from you is stretching the bounds of credibility tbh. Happy to be proved incorrect and play guess the location from a still off your cam. You can post minus the exif and location data. :geek:

Understand opiates of some sort were involved in the creation of the above image ;);)

Changed my CD collection that has been in the 6 disc player for 20 odd months, one can get rather tired of the same old tracks :D
Too true, we really need a solution on these older COMAND systems to be able to play music from sources such as bluetooth.

Which one do you use?
Mpow Bluetooth 4.1 Receiver, [ON/OFF Button, Portable Bluetooth Wireless Audio Adapter,Hands-free Calling Blutooth Car Kit for Car Speaker/Home Stereo System, with 3.5mm Aux Stereo Output https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B075H6MQ29/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_ISWMBb84ZA7RV

Just a cheapo Chinese one. Works ok though volume is slightly on the low side and you need to charge it from time to time.
You don't get any track info on the car display either.
I'm currently working on a better solution ;)

The bluetooth in the R230 COMAND 2.0 is only for telephone and doesn't stream music unfortunately.

Any recommendations?
I'll dig out what I bought later. I'll tell you what I'm planning though:

* a 3.5mm Aux port to be set into the floor of the centre console armrest.
* a flagpole-type bluetooth dongle with micro-USB charging port.
* an Anker 5 bar rapid USB charger block.

The USB charger block will be hardwired into the back of the 12V socket behind all the trim. The Aux port will be hardwired into the COMAND 2.5 head unit; I will be able to stream music to the dongle from my phone and play it directly through the car's tape deck channel (which the Aux replaces).
