Looked at the s class ,It’s a straight 6 good condition,
Lovely driver will put new mot on it
Loaded But no heated seats can’t understand anyone getting this new with no heated seats.
Should heated seat buttons be on dash , there’s a wheel on each seat
Numbered 1-5 but I think this is lumbar support or some seat setting. Although all heat adjustments seem to be on the doors as they are memory

I would have expected that to be a V6 engine.

No it’s straight 6 , but wonder if it’s better for it , the last old straight 6 I had was a great engine.

Doesn’t appear to have them , I was thinking of buying a older s class 320 05 or so as replacement for my 07 e 320 , but not knowing or ever owning a s class I am a bit timid about making the change. Know nothing about the air suspension, car is good as rust free except the alloys need refurbished which I could do myself.
It certainly drives lovely would not feel a bump , lovely gear change
Not big mls for the year , 2 owners
90000 mls with every mot cert .
Seems mine and his are worth roughly same so as I know him he
would want a few hundred just to switch and for him to put a new yrs mot on it.

Sounds a reasonable buy to be honest

My problem is I don't know much about air suspension , don't know if it's prone to corrosion or if you can work at it yourself. I had a few citreon yrs ago with the fluid type and I found them no problem and not that hard to work at , but I am clueless about this air system.

compared to steel springs its no worries at all - it will cost you 5 K plus labour any time from purchase to three month of ownership
you could bin it when it fails and for 1k plus fitting go with real suspension two people do kits

if its not got xenon headlights or heated seats walk away,

I would keep the e class and spend a few pence on some choice upgrades like Bluetooth and a set of LEDs to go inside the projector lights

Air suspension is simple compared to ABC.

John is there anyway to check it’s ok
when viewing , like changing the settings from one to another,
If it’s faulty would there be a noise or a message come up.

Simply cycling the settings and making sure all 4 corners settle evenly really . Listening for leaks on the airbags , listening for compressor hiss ( one short burst when you unlock the car for instance) is good too
