My SL will be coming out of its first winter hibernation, battery on charge, just sat in it and it feels as though you are sitting on the pavement. The Bose system is very nice, I will have to do something with the sound system in the 140. The trouble is I am spoilt, I have the 17 loudspeaker surround sound in the V70R, the 140 system sounds like a pocket radio in spite of the 16 loudspeakers

On the C240 est.. topped up the engine oil (from the oil leak), topped up the coolant (from the coolant leak) topped up the LPG (from having driven it!) and didnt need to top up the ATF, as I fixed that leak!

The SL driven about 60 miles......SL and CL thoroughly washed including the use of the pressure washer, particular attention under and around the wheel arches in the hope of getting rid of the last of any road salt.
This was the last chance for me given that our Thames Water hose pipe ban comes into effect at mid-night on Wednesday.
I am completely knackered so any ''Henrying'', cleaning of the windows and the use of a detail spray will have to wait until tomorrow......if I am up to it......out to a 50th tonight......carriages at 02.00hrs. tomorrow !!!***???
