Me today hoovered the smart car and the ML. Was going to fix the slow window on the rear of the ML and just thought well I never open it so why bother.

Then spent the rest of the day polishing the alloys on the CL but still not happy with the shine so another day or two should have them sorted.

New pads for the ML all round tomorrow!!!!!!

Washed and polished both the SEC and SL and even washed a Micra for good measure.

I am now officially pooped.

Took the SL out for the first time this year with the top down to buy a Magnum for Lilian, then vacuumed all the cars, "please note that I cannot hoover out my cars if I do not have one"
Then I sat in the CL trying to decide if I like it better than the SL

I must admit, I've been doing the same a few times lately, SEC or SL, that is the question.

Yes I like both my cl and sl for different reasons. The sl is light and nimble and a joy to keep up with the motor bikes on the cat and fiddle whereas the cl is a wonderful cruiser. I love both and couldn't choose between them.

Just seen a 1998 CL420 with 40k miles and 1 owners but at £15k that is a bit silly

Decided to remove the sunroof seal on the CL this morning as one corner wouldnt stay in position.
Had a quick chat to MB about replacement seal and decided the old one is fine and now fitted correctly.

What do you use for the green gunge? Old fashioned elbow grease? Or something chemical and clever?

I dont get green gunge on my sunroof seal!! never had it either not on any of my mercedes, I would suggest pulling the seal out and cleaning everything and possibly soak the seal in a warm bucket of water with something in it to clean it.
