Bluetooth for NTG 3

Morning.
Tried to connect my iPhone 7 with my NTG3 Comand w221 but no luck. Any help please?

Do you have telephone pre wiring?
Mine did and I could set up the iPhone, comand said it was authorised etc. But the phone would not work.

Apparently NTG3 need the HPE Puck.
Plug that in and it all works.
Imdid have a weird issue where for the first week it took like 8 mins to synch a big address book , but now its syncs in 15 secs.
Bought mine a mint one for £135.
Lady had used it for 6 months then her new car didnt need it.

Note mine is a C216 CL500 2009 not a W221 (S Class??)

Still I was not able to connect my iPhone 7. Do I need a new HFP software update of Viseeo 4?

make fone calls or stream music?

in my w221 it connect with my 7plus without problem once bluetooth is on in iphone and in car you just need authorize it by code during pairing and calls works, phonebook etc

music streaming is other story
standard comand don't support it in w221 you need to use multimedia interface in glovebox and connect there bluetooth adapter either merc genuine (hard to buy) or something like bluetooth receiver with mini jack output then you can stream music wirelessly (by use AUX as source)
it works in mine car

Ok. What code do I need to use to authorise my iPhone 7 ? I tried but no luck at all.

Guess you've tried the usual defaults 1234 and 0000?
If so and those haven't worked maybe it's been set with a code from a previous owner (if you weren't the first)- if you can't get that then I guess you could see if Alfie at Comandonline has a factory reset procedure
