My 2004 e class is showing a full tank which is strange as I had a quarter tank yesterday ! As this happened to anyone else and if so what caused it? My guess is fuel sensor.

Does your range indicator on the central display match a full tank?

That is showing 0! I got a replacement fuel sender and fitted that which made no difference. It was working fine no random readings. Just overnight it's stuck full on. I have a feeling it's the digital display that has failed. Had the car 3 years and no matter how much fuel I have put in the top bar of the display has never lit up like it is now.
