After roughly 6 weeks with this I am slowly getting on top of the electronics and command system but the subscription for TomTom has expired and I'm not sure if there is an alternative. I've been using Google maps from my phone for navigation on 3 vehicles and prefer Google to TomTom but don't want to have the phone perched on the dash. Is there any way I can use Google maps on the command system and screen? Also if the answer is no....how do I renew TomTom subscription...apologies in advance for such a basic question.

If you have a video input free you could use one of these and an HDMI out from your phone (if it supports it).

I have TomTom traffic on mine and it’s fairly good if not overseen to save you time, I have been offered a reroute time saved 2 minutes.

Mine is up for renewal next year in April and I will pay to extend.
