I have a Seamaster James Bond 40th anniversary edition. It was the Die Another Day watch with the 007gun logo forming the surf waves on the face, with the 007gun logo in silver. The barrel rifling on the back and the logo on the clasp.

At the time here in the UK they went like hot cakes at a list of c£1400. Only 10007 were made for worldwide sale, mine is 00764. I actually saw it in a jewellers in Livigno on a ski trip for £790. They didn't realise what it was.

At the time of the launch and the hype around JB007 40th anniversary, 20th film there was a shedload of themed stuff. I have the 19DVD gunmetal box set with the foam insert for the 20th DVD on release, latterly the BluRay set in the book format, a Swatch DAD watch where the face flips to show the barrel rifling.

Swatch did 20 watches, 1 for each film, released at different times. There was a Samsonite case to carry all 20 if you had bought all of them.

Attended a JB 007 auction of memorabilia in Westminster where a few of the cast over the years attended and bought the Mrs a film reel box of make up used for Halle Berry.

We did a JB 007 dinner with friends at home when the DAD DVD came out, dinner jackets, evening gowns. There was a guy who was an avid JB fan, but missed out on the Seamaster. I told my other mate to 'watch' during the evening as I served starters wearing my Rolex, main wearing the swatch and desert wearing my Seamaster. There was silence from him for the rest of the night!!

Needs a good clean. I tend to wear it for meetings where I sense the Rolex might be an issue

That’s it.

My dad has a couple of Rolex’s, Breitling’s and a Junghans divers watch. But no idea on what particular models. I’ll find out one day as they’re part of my inheritance. Not in a rush for them though. Would much rather have my old man alive than an old watch.

Would much rather have my old man alive than an old watch. My Rolex was to replace a Seiko that my late father got on behalf of my late maternal grandfather for me. The Seiko got nicked at school during sports. I promised dad before he died I'd get a Rolex in his memory when I could afford it after he died 30 years ago. It will pass to my daughter

I've a titanium and yellow gold Seamaster which I was given as an engagement present from my first wife (I think that's an idea we need to promote more, the ladies get a nice rock, we should have something to remember the occasion). The midwife took the timings for the birth of both of my sons from my watch which adds to it's value (to me). My eldest son will be getting it, once I've finished with it, although I've not worn it for a couple of years now as my work wasn't conducive to wearing a decent watch. I'm a slave to my fitbit now (even though I can't hardly see the display)

More often wear a Magrette Moana Pacific Kara these days

That's quite unusual!

Mine is front row centre in the top row of the box (next to the aircraft instrument B&R).

The gold watch back right top row is also an Omega (from 1976). Manual wind and very thin.

It is very unusual, when I got it there were only 2 in the UK for sale (both in Goldsmiths Bristol) as everyone goes for the "Bond" version so they only really brought it in on special order. Totally irreplaceable now as well, value goes up year on year.
