Well, d day is approaching. Do they come with the cable to use Apple CarPlay or do they charge you for it?

I bought these:

The air play connection is in the centre armrest cubby. By using these short cables there is no tangling. Other lengths and colours are available.

It was our boy C350Carl wot put me onto the quality of 'Anker', but I missed the 'W' off the front as i thought he was talking bollox :geek::geek: at the time.

So it's just a normal usb to lightening cable like you use for charging?

Yes, but, no, but it's got special magical powers like the official Mercedes Benz one at mega bucks!!! ;););)

My iPod plays through a 89p cheap lead too, but this the old 32 pin jobby :rolleyes:

The Anker leads, I have another couple of longer ones, have been the best Ive used. They are especial as the girls don't lose them, break the plugs off of them, break the cable. Worth spending on them tbh :D:D

I assume you mean they need to be mfi certified? I currently use a lot of anker cables etc and know the quality is really good :)

I've got red Anker charging leads in mine, not as fast as yellow ones but I couldn't find any in yellow

Apologies but I hadn't had any notification or replies! We now have it and have had it ceramic coated. It is stunning and very good of fuel. The lack of rear space is coming as a shock though!

Just 1 thing so far, it has now done 1600 miles in a week and the oil level is half way between mon and max. I must confess that it wasn't checked on delivery. I picked some oil up today and the parts guy said he had never known the new 220 use any oil. Is this what you all find or should I worry if it uses it? Thanks

They can use some oil for sure. Probably will say in the book but up to 1l per 1000 miles wouldn’t cause concern.
Just keep an eye on it, don’t want a rattly chain!

Mine used to use some but never so much as I had to add between services. Used to get the too much oil message after a service though...

I've got Head Up Display on my C Class. It is quite nice for long journeys

Keep an eye on it, fill it up and take it from there
