Model identification

Hi all, my son has been told of a car that might be coming up for sale, it has been dry stored for ten years. We dont have much info at the moment only that its a two door 1990 reg made in 1989 with a 500 engine and a central grill star badge. Apart from asking here and Wikipedia how would I find out the models available at that time. We cant go to see it yet as another family member of the owner has shown interest. What could it be? john

Could be, although he didn't mention it was a convertabubble, just a 2 door. I'd like to think that if it was a rag top that would be the overriding way of describing it, rather than "two door" Well that's my reason for saying 500SEC (and I like them )

Nothing new to report but the offer the relative has put to the owner is £1250. I have checked the MOT history since 2005 and no corrosion issues have been recorded apart from a brake pipe.

It looks as if we have lost the scent here boys, the owners widow still hasn't decided if she wants to part with it. I think it is a 500 SEC but I have now way of knowing for sure. Thanks for the help everybody, I will be back if I get any more news. john
