No idea but, if you don't know when it was last done, get up to MB for a filter, buy the right spec oil, and do it. We do ours at about 10K Kms and we buy the filters from MB in batches of 5.

Yes and yes. and whichever source of the leak, it's most unlikely to get into the engine. Quantities are small and it'll evaporate off. Not good though.
This after 27 years with my M104 engine. Mine leaked years ago so Ireplaced the O-rings. No good. Replaced the governor - yes, MB calls it...
What's the MB part number of the thing you need? That's the best place to start and then, if neessary, source quality aftermarket parts.
AutoDoc supplies some dodgy marques - Febi, Meyle, Ridex - quality with these is variable.

I don't really understand that statement but 16.7 volts sounds dangerously high. Was that with the engine idling?
I would hope for mo more than 14.7, or thereabouts.

I struck lucky with flex discs (doughnuts) from Febi. I ordered Lemfoerder but AutoDoc supplied Febi. I told them I'd send them back but when I saw them they are made by SGF so kosher. They were fitted in 2017 and still look pretty good 70K Kms later.
For gearbox and engine mounts, I'd go to MB...
Great pity. I sympathise with the OP. With the reliability of MB electronics you'd think they'd provide a backup in the form of a dipstick.
Well, that's my jaded view.

Not a good idea. You need to find a good MB specialist who will do it properly.
Someone on one of the forums will recommend a specialist. You may need to travel a bit for the right one.

Email sent. Check your SPAM box if you don't see it as some filters see me as a website (which I am) and therefore possibly a rogue (which I am not).
