    W204 battery location

As you look in the engine compartment it’s in the top right hand corner under a plastic cover which holds the pollen filter. The cover has 3 clips on it . Thanks Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    MB Keys

The metal key will need to be cut. This is probably only the outer shell and not the electronics. Either way it will need to be programmed. And if you read the reviews for this company it will take several weeks/months for you to receive item if you receive at all. Sent from my iPhone using...

Nox sensors codes & EML on!

I would absolutely bother them. I have had my E220 in twice for NOX sensors similar mileage and service history and had first time 1 sensor replaced and 2nd time both replaced FOC . They are aware it’s an issue and if they try to fob you off I’d be going to MB head office . Good luck Sent...

    Mot Failure

I’m 99% sure the rule is if it’s fitted and connected it must work…. However if you disconnect it and explain that you have disconnected it then as long as the main brake lights work it should pass. Hope that helps …

Anyone see why I should not buy the cheaper of these 2 batteries. For stop start. E C P don’t state there’s is suitable for stop start I assume it is

Lion batteries don’t have the best reviews. I did a bit of research when buying mine a couple of months ago. So out of the 2 i would opt for the Halfords one.

    Bike carrier for my Viano

Have you looked at these? They normally go in vans but I’m sure they would cut in a trailer depending on number of bikes and they are great [emoji106] https://www.bikestow.com Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

212 GPS not working - aerial already replaced!

I had this issue on my CLS. Had to replace the Fakra connector which immediately worked. Maybe you have a dodgy one , send it back and get a replacement to see if that works? Alternatively speak to COMAND ONLINE https://www.commandonline.co.uk they will be able to tell you what is likely...

MT05 YVV - CLS55 AMG known to the club?

Hello…. All sounds odd, the Log oil was last issued April 2014. Hasn’t been taxed since 2015 so assuming the April 2014 buyer registered immediately he kept it for a year and then stopped using it. Also it says “ untaxed - tax due 16 June 2015 “ this sounds like it hasn’t even been SORN ...

    Mercedes Me

Hi, You will need to go into your local dealership with V5 and ID. No appointment should be necessary , it can’t be done on the phone. They will take copies of ID and VIN number and by the end of the day should have swapped to your details. Had to do this myself a couple of months ago. Cheers...

    E220 dongle.?

Are you sure it’s not the Mercedes me plug in? Not sure a 2015 has the COMAND capability for Mercedes me so they gave out an OBD plug in? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

As above and I’m pretty sure external temperature has a factor aswell so with the low temperatures we are experiencing at the moment that may well be affecting it aswell. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Nox Sensor, advice required!

Has it got MB service history? I would speak to the dealer and explain this is a known fault due to faulty NOX sensors and you expect the cost to be covered by MB. If the dealer can’t help speak to MB in MIlton Keynes to escalate. As per previous threads this is a known MB issue. Good luck...

    Nox Sensor, advice required!

Hi, Yes have experienced , luckily in a 2016 E Class which was still under warranty, had EML come on as was driving away from showroom and 1 NOX was replaced and then both replaced again 6 months later after EML light came on. My understanding is that the sensors were of a poor quality and...

Thanks all for your input. I have taken the plunge and bought myself a 2 year old V Class 250d. Picking it up on Wednesday, I listened to all your comments about transporter and caravelle and whilst they were good options this was a good deal and suits my requirements better. Special thanks...
