If you are thinking in terms of a Saab be mindful of the fact that they have an enormous amount of 'scuttle shake' and consequently some do suffer from cracks/splits in the bulkhead !!

Agreed but I was thinking about the later model which i dont think suffered from the same design issues as the `97 - `03 models :
