apologies for my multiple posts, after a heavy downpour we had a puddle in the footwell coming from behind the glovebox

From the replys already received it sounds like a blocked drain but how do I get to it.

Thanks

I thought I explained on the other thread?
Open the bonnet, look for pools of water. If there are clear any leaves etc by hand. If you're lucky it'll clear. If not find the lowest point where the drain will be and clear using curtain wire or similar. Alternatively get under the car and look for the drain behind d the front wheels. Push the curtain wire up the drain tube to clear it.

You don't actually see much of the bodywork at all under the bonnet. I'm guessing the drain will be under the plastic cover after removing the wipers?

It may be. I'm not familiar with the SLK. On SLs and E classes it's fairly obvious.
