Hi, so today after a week without driving when for a spin on the car, and notice that turbo wasn’t responding, the car won’t pass the 2k Rev and will shift up no problem, but it looks like there is no turbo :/ what could be happening?! No light or malfunction on, I feel sad I had the car for over 2 months now. Don’t know where to start, any advice?!

Sounds like the car is in limp mode if it won't rev over 2k RPM.
It really needs taking to an MB indy to have the fault codes read on Star.

Yes needs a session on Star to throw some light into what is going on, probably a multitude of fault codes will need deleting and then see what comes back when the car is used

That's more or less what I was charged at a local-ish indie to tell me what i already suspected. That kind of money would almost buy you a icarsoft i980 ;) ...obviously STAR has the ability to tell you more, but an icarsoft would probably tell you enough. :)
The trouble codes that appeared on my car were 2510 & 2616 which STAR automatically advised replacement of the turbo.

That is around the cost of an hours labour.
Got to worth it to find out what is wrong?

Are you close to Amberley? There is an indy there but don't think he advertises his services on the forum.

A bit further down the A3 are PCS in Horndean who are another good indy.

The i980 doesn't work on diesels this age.
CDI2 is too old, 211 onward, unfortunately...

The car don’t have under cabinet ODB port, it has only the odb plug inside the fuse box. So I think I’m taking me s210 to a specialist as see what we can advise, it’s strange that the car was working 100% and I haven’t been driving to fast most of the time don’t even reach 2.5k Rev on normal driving. I’m chocked how the turbo “died” like that, no warning no knocks, no signals...

£67 is worth it, at the right place. It's a common thing on the 613 engine, IME:

1. EGR system u/s, i.e. clogged.
2. Inlet manifold flap motor u/s
3. MAF dead.

4. Check vac. connectors..hard to see on the turbo VNT line.

Yep... Star or Carsoft will do it though.
Could help if you were nearer (have both).

The older Carsoft 7.4 works on these.
I've got all the hard and soft ware .. but I know it'll never work, for me.
OM605 is my way forwards.

Ta. Didn't know that
You can use an i980 on it but you need a 38pin to OBD2 adapter cable with pin 4 on the 38pin end wired through, then run it in OBD diagnose mode to get generic codes. Can't read anything else though.

When I had mine, 210 choice wasn't on the menu = no dice?
Good kit, aside.

That's right. 210 isn't on the menu. That's why you use the generic mode.

So guys I think I will remove EGR a give it a clean. Just a question? Do you guys recommend unplugging battery as I’m removing MAF and other electric switches?!
