2008 cls 320

hi, I have 2008 cls 320 and there is a rattle from front end when I drive over uneven ground. Anyone had same problem or can advise? Many thanks. Gordon

Could be antiroll bar drop links, antiroll bar mounts, strut top mounts, strut, ball joints, steering joints or even wheel bearing.

Thanks. Had anti roll bar removed and ball joints removed but made no difference. I guess need to work through the other possibilities. Should a good mechanic be able to diagnose fault when car is up on the ramp, noting movement etc?

i think all e class w211 and cls w219 must make this noise , ive changed all the lower arms, ball joints , next step is strut top mounts , then the shocks if the rattle remains . i can jump over speed bumps in silence but on uneven ground it drives me nuts.

Have it looked at by all means but mine does the same, been through two MOT's and nothing found, fortunately it's not very loud and only occurs on undulating or damaged road surface...
