I have 2010 R230 SL350.
The radio has no backlight when you start the car.
The radio works fine all the buttons, volume dial, steering wheel volume and in dash display etc.
When started you see faintly the Mercedes badge briefly then onto a blank screen.
Now the confusing bit.
If i turn the radio off then immediately back on again i will get the display back.
and the display will remain on until the car is switched off.
Then same process again, start car no display but radio working.
i have been through the limited menu options with no change.
powered the car down both batteries for a while.
no change.
any ideas ?
