My 2015 CLS 350D Has just developed a misfire. I have had the car 9 months now, covered 6000 miles in that time. Just got back off holiday two days ago, drove 120 miles from airport no problems, another 180 mile trip after that mostly in 75mph cruise control. About 40 mile from my destination it didn't feel right, slightly sluggish but put the foot done a little further and it would shoot off no problem.
Got to destination and the engine has a bit of a click on tickover. Lifted the bonnet.. and then shut it again.
Next day I phone Mercedes about my due service, book it in for ten days time. I tell them about my misfire. Another 100 mile journey and the sluggishness is still there. Worse even? I haven't driven it since but have 9 days to wait for the service. I don't want to wreck it.
What do you suggest? Does the SOS button work? It is still under warranty, 2 years and 11 months old.
