Well lets start with the basics and eliminate the guesswork, what fault codes are stored?
Hi and low fuel pressure on rail
Just wondering if polarity on crank sensor has changed

Thats no help, put the actual fault codes up, not an abbreviation from your code reader.

What engine is in this sprinter? 2.2 OM646? or 3.0 V6 OM642??]

Nothing to do with the crank sensor. Stop guessing and provide the correct information.

Fault - Information - Diagnostic testing - cure.

P2051 can be caused by a bad injector. P2047 can be caused by a blocked fuel filter.

You really need to get this on STAR to diagnose it properly

Using a versus pro scanner
New injectors have been installed. Two fuel filters have been tried with no results

In that case it definitely needs to go on STAR as STAR can test individual components to isolate the fault.

The versus pro scanner is nothing like STAR. STAR is built for MB and has much more in the way of guided tests, actuations and actual values.

I had one on demo from Snap On and thought it was nothing more than a glorified code reader.
