300TE engine cut out - Intermittent engine cut out at slow s

When my 1990 300TE estate is running at slow speed,the engine will intermittently cut out with no warning .All lights on the dash come on, it will generally then start up again immediately when the ignition key is turned.it does not seem to matter whether the engine is hot or cold.
Someone suggested the fuel relay ? At present its been sitting in a garage for a month because noone knows how to solve it!

The problem you have  is a common one. Only there are a few components that can cause this problem. Firstly some one should check all the KE injections system components thoroughly making sure all the correct voltages are there and correct resistances. If you have a good technician conversant with the test procedure he should be able to start tracking down the problem. If not contact me on www.mercedesservicing.com
