A170 door lock doesn't work

I am replacing the door lock actuator but its a long job.
I have removed the all the rivet in the metal plate but not sure if i have to remove the window to take out the actuator.
anybody's help would be great.

I did see that one but its quite different.
it looks like my window is attached to the inner part of the door
