I am in the middle of rebuilding the front valve block on my R230 SL55. My car was dropping on one side so decided to go the whole hog and sort it out. So I have stripped down the block and two small things i need.

The four O-rings which seal the solenoids to the valve block are knackered on my unit. Two are blue O-rings and the other two are flat rubber O-Rings. They did not come with the O-Ring kit i bought and google is not throwing anything up so far.

I also managed to break one the clips which hold the solenoids in place. Can these be bought from the stealers or does anyone have one to spare they would sell me?

The spacer rings if that's what you mean are available but they're really pricey. I think I'm the only supplier on this side of the Atlantic for them. They don't degrade as the o-rings do as they're not energised in this design. I can get you a price and delivery date if you like as I do t have them in stock.

In terms of o-rings, I can sell you a kit which has all the o-rings you need for one axle. The "kits" that are sold on eBay are catch-all. I believe I'm the only supplier to actually develop a kit specifically for Gen 1 ABC.

Clips wise, they're not available separately even to MB plant. They're a level 3 or 4 part so 3-4 suppliers down the value chain. Your only hope is a torn down unit from the breakers there.

I am referring to the O-rings that seal the body of the solenoid to the body of the valve block. They are not hydraulic seals. They are about 42mm OD. Two of them are blue and round type, two are black and flat. I can take a pic if needed?

If you can supply them I would like to get them from you.

I plan to do the rear valve block soon so I would be interested in your kit. Do you want to PM me details.

They don't appear in the assembly bill of materials at all... most odd.

If you can send me one of the large 42mm rings I can source them for you.
